About the company
Chubb Life Insurance Company LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chubb Limited and part of the international Chubb group. Its sole participant is Chubb International Investments Limited (United Kingdom).
The company's history begins in 2006: ZAO ACE Life Insurance was registered on 11 May 2006. In 2011 it became a limited liability company, and since 25 July 2016, after the merger of ACE and Chubb, it has operated under its current name. Its paid-up charter capital is RUB 450 million. The company has been a member of the All-Russian Insurance Association since 2017.
Its Bank of Russia licences are perpetual, dated 28.09.2022: SZh No. 3998 (voluntary life insurance) and SL No. 3998 (voluntary personal insurance other than life).
Types of insurance offered
- Life insurance covering death, survival, periodic payments (annuities) and participation in the insurer's investment income — under the company's rules.
- Accident and sickness insurance: death and disability, injury, hospitalisation, temporary incapacity for work, surgery.
- Cover in case of diagnosis of a serious illness.
- Group programmes for employers: cover 24 hours a day, at work only, for the duration of an event or trip; territory — worldwide or Russia only.
Individuals aged 3 to 65 are accepted for cover. The company states that it has no insurance agents.
Life insurance guarantees
A guarantee of life insurance payouts through the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA/ASV) is introduced by Law No. 477-FZ from 1 January 2027. Until then there is no such guarantee.
Key figures
According to the Bank of Russia, the company's premiums in 2025 were about RUB 0.95 million (112th place on the market), with no payouts. In the first half of 2026 it collected about RUB 60,000.

For claims notification and settlement the company recommends writing to Elena.Nikolaeva@chubb-insurance.ru. Attach the claim form, documents confirming the event (medical records, certificates of incapacity or disability) and bank details for payment.
If you disagree with the insurer's decision, first send it a written claim (pretenziya). An individual consumer can then apply to the Financial Ombudsman — for many disputes this is a mandatory step before going to court. See "Insured event" for details.
