1. General provisions

This agreement sets out the terms of use of the polisre.ru website (the "website") and the client service standards of the Polis Re insurance centre. The website is administered by Polis Re LLC (INN 7733823400, OGRN 1127747178371, 6 Kronshtadtsky Boulevard, Moscow, 125212), hereinafter "Polis Re".

By using the website, you accept the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website. This agreement is not an offer to conclude an insurance contract: the contract is concluded with an insurance company on its terms.

2. What the website offers

3. Polis Re's status

Polis Re is not an insurance company: it does not assume insurance risks, issue policies or pay claims. Policies are issued by insurance companies licensed by the Bank of Russia. The rights and obligations of the parties are determined by the insurance contract and the insurer's insurance rules (Article 943 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation), which you should read before paying. See the Disclosure page for details.

4. Calculators and quotes

Calculator results and preliminary quotes are for reference only and do not constitute an offer. The final price and terms are set by the insurance company after checking the data — for example, for OSAGO (compulsory motor third-party liability insurance), taking into account information from the automated information system (AIS OSAGO). The price may differ from the preliminary estimate if the data, the insurer's rates or regulatory requirements have changed.

5. Buying travel insurance online

Travel insurance on the website is purchased through Polis Re's partner, the Cherehapa service; the policy is issued by the insurance company you choose. The process is as follows:

  1. you enter the country, trip dates and travellers' ages and choose a programme;
  2. you enter the travellers' details — in Latin letters, exactly as in the international passport — and the policyholder's contacts;
  3. you pay for the policy on the partner's payment page;
  4. you receive the policy by e-mail; if you bought it from your personal account, it is also saved there.

Before paying, check the details, territory, dates, sum insured and any options you need (for example, active leisure). An error in the data may make it harder to obtain assistance. Changes, cancellation and premium refunds are handled under the insurance company's rules.

6. Requests and consultations

We aim to make dealing with Polis Re simple and clear:

  • We pay attention to everyone. A specialist looks into your situation rather than selling a "standard" policy.
  • We value your time. We respond to requests during business hours as quickly as possible, and agree timelines for complex business quotes in advance.
  • We explain in plain language. You do not need to know insurance terminology to get advice; our glossary can help if needed.
  • We give full information. We show the terms, exclusions, deductibles and limitations, not just the price.
  • We protect confidentiality. Information obtained while serving you is used only for your task — in accordance with the Personal Data Processing Policy.
  • We are open to dialogue. We value comments and suggestions — they help us improve the service.

Submitting a request does not oblige you to conclude a contract.

7. Personal account

  • Registration requires a valid e-mail address and/or phone number. Please provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions taken under your account. If your password has become known to others, change it and let us know.
  • The account stores requests, quotes and policies purchased through the website; contact persons' details (travellers, insured persons) can be saved for future purchases.
  • You can delete your account by writing to info@polisre.ru. Policies already issued by insurance companies remain in force.
  • We may restrict access to the account in case of a breach of this agreement or attempts to interfere with the website's operation.

8. Reviews and comments

Reviews are published after moderation. We do not publish content that contains insults, obscene language, advertising, links to third-party resources, personal data of third parties or false information, or that breaks the law. Polis Re does not change the meaning of a review but may hide personal data, and may reject or remove a review that breaks these rules. The author's opinion may not coincide with Polis Re's position.

9. Website content

Texts, design, calculators and other website materials belong to Polis Re or are used with the permission of the rights holders. Quoting is permitted to the extent justified by the purpose of the quotation, with the source indicated. Copying materials in full without Polis Re's consent is not permitted.

10. Liability

  • Information on the website is for reference only and does not replace reading the insurance rules and the contract.
  • Polis Re is not responsible for insurance companies' decisions on concluding contracts, rates and claim payments; however, Polis Re specialists advise clients and help prepare documents when an insured event occurs.
  • The website may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical failures; we try to fix them quickly.
  • The parties' liability is governed by the legislation of the Russian Federation. Nothing in this agreement limits consumer rights provided by law.

11. Personal data

Personal data is processed under the Personal Data Processing Policy in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data".

12. Enquiries and disputes

Please send questions, suggestions and complaints to info@polisre.ru or call +7 (495) 108-60-59; contact details are on the Contacts page. The parties seek to resolve disputes through negotiation; failing agreement, disputes are resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. How to appeal against an insurance company's actions is described on the Disclosure page.

13. Changes to this agreement

Polis Re may amend this agreement; the new version applies from the moment it is published on the website. By continuing to use the website after changes, you accept the new version.
