About the company
Insurance Joint-Stock Company Lexgarant was founded in Moscow in March 1993. From its early years it has specialised in aviation risks: it was among the first on the Russian market to insure Western-built aircraft leased by Russian airlines, covering aircraft hull and air carrier liability. Today Lexgarant is a multi-line insurer with an aviation focus and obligatory reinsurance treaties.
Bank of Russia licences (unlimited term): SL No. 0348, SI No. 0348 and PS No. 0348 — voluntary personal and property insurance and reinsurance. The company has no current rating from Russian rating agencies.

For corporate clients:
- aircraft hull and air carrier liability;
- rail and road transport, fleets, cargo;
- civil liability, including product and service defects, and professional liability;
- employee accident and medical insurance.
For individuals: KASKO, property insurance, mortgage insurance, accident insurance, voluntary health insurance and travel insurance.
Key figures
According to the Bank of Russia, Lexgarant collected RUB 107 million in premiums in 2025 and paid out RUB 2.3 million (market rank 94). In the first half of 2026: RUB 25.0 million in premiums and RUB 762 thousand in claims (rank 94).

If an insured event occurs
- Notify the insurer immediately, following the procedure and deadlines in the contract.
- Take reasonable steps to limit the loss and preserve evidence: reports, photos, correspondence.
