Insurance Company Mediana LLC was registered on 11 July 2025 and received Bank of Russia licences SI No. 4420 and SL No. 4420 on 19 March 2026. It specialises in corporate insurance, building tailored programmes for industry, logistics, the marine and aviation sectors.
Types of insurance offered
- Trade credit and receivables — protects suppliers against buyer default and insolvency.
- Aviation insurance — aircraft hull (loss, damage, disappearance) and air carrier liability; see aviation risk insurance.
- Marine insurance — vessels and watercraft, shipowners’ and charterers’ liability.
- Cargo insurance for road, rail, air, sea and river transport.
- Railway rolling stock insurance (rules in force since 21 August 2026).
The company’s approved rules also cover accident and sickness insurance, voluntary medical insurance (DMS) and travel medical insurance — useful for employers who need employee accident cover or DMS for employees. It does not sell OSAGO (compulsory motor third-party liability).

According to the Bank of Russia, in the first half of 2026 Mediana collected about RUB 64 million in premiums and ranked 91st in the market; it made no claim payments in that period. There are no figures for 2025, as the company was not yet licensed. We found no confirmed financial strength rating.
