About the company
Insurance Company NIK LLC was founded in Ulyanovsk: it was registered on 31 July 1995 and in 2014 was converted from a closed joint-stock company into an LLC. Its core speciality is insurance of major aviation risks: for many years the company has provided insurance cover for the Volga-Dnepr group and its staff. NIK has no branches or representative offices.
Bank of Russia licences: SI No. 2917 and SL No. 2917 (voluntary property and personal insurance other than life). The company is a member of the Russian Association of Aviation and Space Insurers. It has no current rating from Russian rating agencies.
Insurance products
The main focus is commercial insurance:
- aircraft hull and aviation liability insurance;
- cargo, construction and erection risks, vehicle fleets;
- general and professional liability;
- employee health insurance and employee accident insurance.
Individuals can buy KASKO, property insurance, accident insurance, voluntary health insurance and travel insurance.

According to the Bank of Russia, NIK collected RUB 332 million in premiums in 2025 and paid out RUB 68.1 million; market rank 85. In the first half of 2026: RUB 213 million in premiums and RUB 6.7 million in claims (rank 82).
