Types of insurance offered

Note on guarantees. Under Federal Law No. 477-FZ, guaranteed payouts on life insurance contracts through the Deposit Insurance Agency (ASV) will only be introduced from 1 January 2027. Until then there is no such guarantee, so when choosing a long-term or savings plan it is worth assessing the reliability of the insurer itself: its size, credit rating and surrender value terms.

Key figures

According to the Bank of Russia, in 2025 U-Life collected RUB 5.7 billion in insurance premiums and paid out RUB 5.1 billion, ranking 41st in the market by premiums. In the first half of 2026 it collected RUB 2.1 billion and paid out RUB 3 billion (ranked 48th). Large payouts are normal for a life insurer, as they include maturity payments on savings contracts.

The National Rating Agency (NRA) rates the company A+|ru| with a stable outlook (affirmed in December 2025). Bank of Russia licences: SZh No. 4014 and SL No. 4014.
