Luchi Insurance JSC is an insurer focused on medical service. It used to be a group combining the BestDoctor medical service and the BestInsure insurance company. The legal entity has been renamed several times: SK Rezerv JSC → SK Bestinsure JSC → Luchi Insurance JSC since 3 October 2024. All contracts concluded under the previous names remain in force.
The company holds Bank of Russia licences SI No. 2733 and SL No. 2733 (dated 23.10.2024). The general director is Nikolay Kardashevsky. The company names RB Insurance and RB Life Insurance as its key partners.
Its medical service has an in-house team of doctors, with on-duty GPs and paediatricians available around the clock. There is a mobile app and integration with clinics.
Types of insurance offered
- voluntary health insurance (DMS) and employee health insurance with telemedicine and on-duty doctors 24/7;
- accident insurance, including for athletes (sold through partner Kvanti LLC), and group accident cover;
- "Reliable Business" — small business property insurance and cash register insurance (through MTS Bank);
- mortgage insurance and property insurance;
- travel insurance — the company has announced a launch.
Key figures
According to Bank of Russia data for 2025, the company collected RUB 1.08 billion in insurance premiums and paid out RUB 635 million, ranking 67th among Russian insurers by premium volume. In the first half of 2026, premiums amounted to RUB 883 million and payouts to RUB 439 million (60th place for the half-year).
Premiums are growing noticeably: in the first six months of 2026 the company collected more than 80% of its full-year 2025 volume.
Rating: ACRA — A-(RU), stable outlook (assigned on 30.10.2025). The earlier Expert RA rating was withdrawn in September 2025.

You can report an insured event remotely via the form on the website. For health insurance, first contact the on-duty doctor or support centre, who will refer you to a clinic under your programme. For an accident claim, prepare medical documents showing the diagnosis and date of injury. If the company refuses a payout, an individual can send a written claim and then apply to the Financial Ombudsman.
