How we calculate
Corporate DMS (voluntary health insurance paid by the employer) is the largest segment of health insurance in Russia. According to the Bank of Russia, in 2025 employers paid RUB 257.0 billion for employee DMS, and at the end of the year 13.38 million people were insured under policies in force. On average that is RUB 19,208 per employee a year — the calculator multiplies this amount by the number of employees.
Prices keep rising: according to Kommersant, DMS policies became 7–15% more expensive in 2026, so allow a margin in next year's budget.
What affects the programme price
- Programme scope: outpatient clinic, dental care, home visits, ambulance, hospital, telemedicine.
- Clinic level and city: Moscow and Saint Petersburg are more expensive.
- Number and age of employees, share of older staff.
- Past loss ratio: if employees use the policy a lot, the price rises at renewal.
- Deductible or co-payment, family members covered at the employee's expense.
Estimates by company
The company coefficient is the ratio of its average premium per employer DMS policy to the market average according to the Bank of Russia for 2025. The average premium per policy depends heavily on client size: insurers of large corporations have averages many times higher. That is why many companies fall outside 0.5–2.0 and show "price on request".
Preliminary estimate
A company with 50 employees: 50 × 19,208 ≈ RUB 960,400 a year, or about RUB 80,000 a month.
This is a budget benchmark, not a programme price. Learn more on the employee health insurance page; DMS is often combined with employee accident insurance. Polis Re specialists will collect insurers' offers via a request.
