Terms: 6

KBM (bonus-malus coefficient)

The OSAGO bonus-malus coefficient: it lowers the policy price for accident-free driving and raises it after at-fault accidents. It is determined from the driver's insurance history in the OSAGO database.

KM (engine power coefficient)

The OSAGO engine power coefficient: the more powerful the passenger car, the more expensive the policy.

KO (driver restriction coefficient)

The OSAGO coefficient that depends on whether the list of permitted drivers is restricted. For a policy with no restriction on the number of drivers it is 3.16 for individuals (1.97 for organisations), which noticeably increases the price.

KS (seasonal use coefficient)

The OSAGO seasonal coefficient that lets an individual buy a policy for the period the car is actually used, from three months, rather than for the whole year. The shorter the period, the lower the price.

KT (OSAGO territorial coefficient)

The OSAGO territorial coefficient: for cars owned by individuals it depends on the owner's place of residence and is higher in large cities than in small towns.

KVS (age and experience coefficient)

The OSAGO coefficient based on the driver's age and driving experience: young and inexperienced drivers pay more.
