About the company
Zetta Insurance (Zetta Insurance JSC) is a multi-line insurer for individuals and businesses. The current company is the result of a merger: in 2023 the former Allianz Insurance Company JSC was renamed Zetta Insurance, and in 2024 it absorbed Zetta Insurance LLC (which previously operated under the Zurich brand). Life insurance in the group is handled by a separate company, Zetta Life Insurance.
According to the company, the group has more than 200 offices in 44 Russian regions, plus its own agent network and partners — car dealers, leasing and travel companies. Zetta Insurance is a member of the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA). Its Bank of Russia licences No. 0290 include voluntary property and personal insurance, OSAGO, OSOPO, OSGOP and reinsurance.

Ratings from different agencies use different scales, so they cannot be compared letter by letter: what matters is that both agencies place the company at a high level of reliability.
OSAGO and KASKO with Zetta Insurance
An OSAGO policy can be bought online or in an office; the price is calculated using a single Bank of Russia formula, and the insurer chooses its base rate within the permitted range. You can estimate the cost with the OSAGO calculator or the KASKO calculator. OSAGO limits are RUB 400,000 for property and RUB 500,000 for bodily injury; the European accident report (europrotokol) covers up to RUB 100,000, or up to RUB 400,000 when recorded via Gosuslugi Avto.
For KASKO, check the deductible, the settlement option (dealer repair, the insurer’s garage or cash) and the bank’s requirements if the car is on credit: the bank may require a specific set of risks and to be named as beneficiary.

After a road accident or property damage, record the circumstances with photos and video, obtain documents from the authorities (if they were called) and notify the company within the period set in the rules. Under OSAGO you claim from the at-fault driver’s insurer; under KASKO and property insurance — from Zetta Insurance under your own policy. Do not throw away damaged items or start repairs before the inspection.
If a claim is refused or underpaid, send a written claim and then apply to the Financial Ombudsman — free of charge for individuals. Step-by-step guides are in the Insured event section. You can compare the company with others in the insurer directory or get a policy selection via a request to Polis Re specialists.
